Detail

As with any Dyson product, the first thing you will notice is it’s appearance. Dyson products are designed beautifully. The shape is similar to other products with the oval design branded as the an air multiplier. The water tank sits below the fan and the fan easily detaches so filling the tank is easy.

This humidifier has a thermostat and humidistat, which will measure the humidity and temperature in the room. There is a light on the machine that turns blue when the machine is turned on and indicates that it is humidifying the room.

The device also includes a remote control that you can use to control the temperature and humidity settings. It attaches easily to the top of the device with magnet.

Efficiency

The Dyson AM10 Humidifier is superb at efficiency. Through various tests of similar humidifiers, the Dyson comes in top. This machine can raise humidity by 24%! The device is also very quiet compared to similar devices.

The device also offers fan only option, so it can be used in summer and winter months.

Cleaning

Unlike other humidifiers, the Dyson AM10 does not need to be cleaned monthly or on a specific schedule. This humidifier has UV light in the tank that kills any bacteria and is more hypoallergenic when compared.

However, if you’re sensitive to light while sleeping, this could cause an issue. The light is very mild so normally isn’t a problem for most.

The Bottom Line

This humidifier does come at a larger cost than others in it’s class. To save, check out current deals on Amazon here.

The higher price does have it’s benefits, as this device cleans the water in the tank to provide a cleaner humidification process. The design is superior to most other devices as well. The fact that it acts as a fan as well, could save room and cost.
